ENTRY #33
Night had passed and I still hadn’t slept at all. Slivers of light now began to shine through the broken windows. I saw movement in the distance where everyone was now sleeping. The sun had begun to rise and slivers of light now shone through landing on Tabitha’s face. I waved her over and waited a few minutes for her to finally climb the rock wall to where I had been sitting all night. She sat in the beach chair across from me slapping down a deck of cards as she did so. We played cards for hours until the sun had risen to what I thought was ten o’clock or so. I heard another stirring and looked over thinking someone else was waking up. Tabitha saw it before me and let out a deafening scream. Right by the window were what I counted to be a seemingly endless number of zombies. The first one was just beginning to tear through the barricades we had haphazardly put up.
